DIY Puppet Theater

My students love using puppets to retell familiar stories and make up their own stories. I started thinking we needed an easy puppet theater for performances. While I wait on my carpenter (aka Daddy) to make me one to my specifications, I made a quick one by destroying our Math Night tri-fold board (shhh don't tell!).

I covered some seams with duct tape to hide and reinforce the board after cutting, then painted it black. They were using it on the carpet, but it is the perfect height to set it up on top of a desk for an audience to watch.
