Here's a quick post as I jet off to school...

Yesterday my kids got to see something a bit out of the ordinary:

That would be the Discovery Space Shuttle! This is especially exciting since our school mascot is "The Explorers." One little duckling said, "It looks like that plane is giving the space shuttle a piggy back ride!"

I wasn't fortunate enough to be in D.C. when the space shuttle flew over all the monuments but here are pictures from friends who were!
